Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Talent Advisor - Business Units and Canada to join our Cummins Inc. team in Columbus, IN .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment strategies that secure top talent for key business and operational priorities.
- Build targeted talent pipelines that strengthen workforce readiness and support long-term growth.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to deliver efficient, high-quality hiring decisions.
- Drive data-informed recruiting outcomes through analysis of hiring metrics and talent market insights.
- Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, employment legislation, and organizational standards.
- Influence stakeholders by providing expert guidance throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle.
- Enhance employer brand visibility through candidate engagement and recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts that elevate recruiting effectiveness and candidate experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Proven ability to lead complex recruitment activities while effectively balancing diverse stakeholder needs and business objectives.
- Strong expertise in talent sourcing, candidate assessment, and selection methodologies that deliver quality hiring outcomes.
- Excellent communication, consulting, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated capability to leverage data, analytics, and business insights to drive decisions, improve processes, and measure recruitment success.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach combined with sound judgment, adaptability, and a commitment to inclusive hiring practices.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Required business-level proficiency in the French language to effectively support recruitment activities across Canada and diverse stakeholder groups.
- Skilled in utilizing applicant tracking systems, recruiting technologies, and sourcing tools to manage candidate pipelines and deliver timely results.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and select talent using structured, objective methodologies that support compliance and organizational values.
- Strong talent sourcing capabilities with experience identifying, attracting, and engaging diverse candidate populations in competitive markets.
- Effective at building trusted partnerships, influencing decisions, and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
- Ability to interpret and communicate recruiting metrics, trends, and insights to support data-driven business decisions.
- Recognized for adaptability, urgency, resilience, and a collaborative approach when managing multiple priorities and evolving business needs.
- Commitment to fostering inclusion, valuing diverse perspectives, and delivering an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience.
