Supply Planning & Forecasting Managers #IN1259
Maintain integrity of the supply plan and take marketing corrective actions to ensure supply plan stability. Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable supply chain and efficient demand management. Use knowledge of business, customers, markets, and products to efficiently challenge demand plan assumptions to improve the quality and robustness of the demand plan. Utilize experience with Master Supply Planning and Demand Disaggregation to balance supply and demand in order to achieve the financial and service objectives, while stabilizing the supply chain and optimizing the supply chain tensions and to improve supply forecast accuracy. Create common supply chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships. Lead continuous improvement projects that align with the organization's Operating System and Functional Excellence direction, and leverage common processes tools and information systems using Data Management tools including Minitab. Support Corporate Supply Chain Management initiatives and lead the regional/global disaggregation and supply forecasting process to ensure global alignment. Consult with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain Planning teams to facilitate the forecasting processes. Work with the Demand Control Leader to understand the implications of near order trends on availability. Approach daily problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities strategically and tactically to achieve performance targets through use of Cross Functional Project Management tools and techniques. Utilize Six Sigma tools including Voice of the Customer and Finite Element Analysis to develop appropriate new internal and external processes, projects and employee involvement plans. Develop, understand and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators. Assess gaps to the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables; interprets KPIs to understand end-customer impact. Extract, transform, analyze, interpret and present planning data with the goal of mining useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting value creating decision making. Manage, coach and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning. Control the life-cycle of all problems using knowledge of Problem Management to proactively prevent recurrence of incidents to minimize adverse impact on the organization.
