In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Receiving deliveries - Checking incoming parts and materials from suppliers to make sure they are correct and not damaged
  • Putting stock away - Organising and storing parts in the correct locations so they are easy to find later
  • Supplying parts to the workshop - Picking and issuing parts to technicians so they can complete their jobs
  • Stock control - Keeping track of what parts are in stock, updating inventory in the computer system and reporting when items are running low
  • Packing and dispatching orders - Preparing parts for delivery or shipment to customers or other branches
  • Keeping the store tidy and safe - Making sure the warehouse or parts area is clean, organised, and safe to work in
  • Helping customers or staff with parts enquiries via F2F, phone and email - Finding the correct part or checking availability

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • A current Forklift license
  • Local Valid Driver's License required (Full, Open License)
  • Competent computer skills and data entry accuracy
  • Experience in warehousing, stock control, and inventory systems
  • Strong understanding of heavy diesel engine components and truck parts
  • High Reach Truck experience is highly advantageous but not required
  • Competitive hourly rate paid as a permanent salary
