Senior Solution Engineer

We are looking for a talented Senior Solution Engineer to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our EU Aftermarket Meritor Department in the Czech Republic.

We offer a fully remote position based in the Czech Republic , with approximately 10% business travel , mainly to Germany and the UK.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design, document, configure, test, and implement fit-for-purpose technology solutions that align with business goals.
• Translate stakeholder needs into integrated solution designs, workflows, architecture diagrams, data models, and configuration documentation.
• Support solution development, customization, integration, data migration, and testing to ensure systems are secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Validate integrations, data flows, interoperability, and solution performance to ensure accuracy, quality, reliability, and a seamless user experience.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues across design, configuration, implementation, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, IT service providers, and business partners to ensure work is delivered to agreed quality, schedule, cost, security, privacy, and performance expectations.
• Facilitate design walkthroughs, presentations, knowledge-sharing, and training sessions to support stakeholder alignment, solution adoption, and support readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying risks, dependencies, process inefficiencies, and enhancement opportunities that improve solution performance, usability, and business value.

• Strong experience in solution design, system integration, data modeling, data migration, software configuration, testing, performance tuning, and enterprise application support.
• Knowledge of ALM/PLM tools such as Polarion, RV&S, Jira, and DOORS, along with strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and modern development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex requirements, troubleshoot issues, manage risks, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
• Clear communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional workstreams, work independently, and contribute to an inclusive, globally aware team environment.

• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6 - 8 years of experience in IT solution development, enterprise systems, application configuration, solution design, systems integration, or related technology roles.
• Experience working with vendors, IT service providers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver complex solutions across multiple workstreams.
• Relevant certifications in project management, ALM/PLM platforms, Agile, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, cloud, software development, or related tools are preferred.
