School to Work - Drafting - 1st Shift
DESCRIPTION
This will be an entry level school to work role supporting the Drafting team.
Candidates in this program receive comprehensive training in technical drafting skills essential for engineering and manufacturing environments. Training covers:
Projection methods for accurate representation of components and assemblies
Symbols and terminology associated with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Welding symbols and standards for fabrication drawings
Surface finish and dimensioning practices to ensure precision and quality control
Thread callouts for mechanical fasteners and assemblies
Through this training, candidates develop the ability to interpret and produce industry-standard technical drawings, ensuring clear communication of design intent and compliance with engineering specifications.
Will participate in an interview(s) with focus on:
School disciplinary actions
Interview questions and answers
Work experience
Professionalism and attitude
RESPONSIBILITIES
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must be a high school junior or senior
Classes must align with job placement and requisition

This is a part-time position, limited to 19 hours per week which is designed to support your school schedule. 7 AM - 5 PM
