Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily costing of production parts across U.S., Canada, and Mexico facilities.
  • Support financial month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, generating reports, and completing deliverables.
  • Build and maintain databases and tools in Microsoft Access and Excel to improve process efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Collect and analyze data from North American sites.
  • Document processes thoroughly and contribute to process improvement and training materials.
  • Complete semester-long project(s) aligned with departmental needs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
  • Ability to learn quickly, manage multiple priorities, and adapt within a dynamic environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including creating presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across various levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

The CDBS Finance School to Work supports the North America Aftermarket team by performing daily costing, assisting with month-end close activities, developing data tools, and contributing to process improvements. This role provides hands-on experience in a dynamic business-to-business finance environment while building analytical, communication, and technical skills.
