Quality Inspector - Level II
Key Responsibilities:
Verifies the final quality of products on the production line. Compares the physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment and products to technical specifications to identify defects. Separates products that do not have the desired technical specification, using basic and/or complex measurement techniques and equipment. Documents products that do not meet technical specifications using specified systems. Trains others in the use of measurement equipment, segregation of non-conforming product and documentation. Follows the norms and standards of quality defined by the Company.

Measurement Science - Analyzes measurement processes throughout the relevant traceability chain to identify and quantify sources of measurement uncertainty relevant to the appropriate applied measurement science, "Metrology" e.g. Chemical, Dimensional, Electrical, Mechanical, Optical and Radiation and Physical.
Quality Process Management - Proficient application of quality tools and methods (e.g. APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Capability studies, Process Audit, inspection, test, etc.) to ensure quality of products, processes and services.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
Skills Required:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in alternator manufacturing , particularly in alternator winding processes and process audits .
- Strong knowledge of alternator winding processes, testing procedures, and supplier quality management .
- Experience in supplier-end inspections, process audits, training, documentation management, MIS reporting, and process monitoring .
- Hands-on experience with 7 QC tools, PPAP, Poka-Yoke, tooling audits, and various measurement techniques .
- Ability to verify final product quality on the production line and ensure compliance with technical and inspection standards.
- Competence in comparing physical characteristics of components, materials, and equipment with technical specifications to identify defects.
- Experience in segregating non-conforming products using appropriate measurement tools and techniques.
- Ability to document non-conforming products using designated quality systems and procedures .
- Capability to train team members on measurement equipment usage, segregation of non-conforming materials, and documentation processes .
- Strong adherence to company-defined quality norms and standards with demonstrated proficiency in core quality practices.
- Proficient in Quality Process Management , including the application of tools and methodologies such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, capability studies, process audits, inspections, and testing .
- Experience in following standard work procedures, process documentation, and quality systems including SPC, Poka-Yoke, and visual standards .
- Ability to identify quality risks, raise issues proactively, and support cost and quality improvement initiatives .
- Skilled in performing quality inspections and managing non-conforming materials effectively .
- Knowledge of Measurement Science , including analysis of measurement processes and traceability chains to determine sources of measurement uncertainty across dimensional, electrical, mechanical, optical, and physical measurements .
- Understanding of calibration processes , including handling, maintaining, and performing testing with measurement instruments.
