Project Managers - Ethics and Compliance #IN1301
Utilize knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, including engineering problem-solving and technical analytical thinking to design project plans, develop timelines, and identify milestones while required understanding of technical feasibility and system interactions. Regularly assess the organization's compliance with ethical and other ESG related standards and legal regulations and report any issues to management. Determine the scope and objectives of each ESG project, and work with business stakeholders and other employees to establish project performance goals. Manage the project schedule using Schedule Management tools and processes to drive completion within the agreed timeline. Research, design, evaluate, install, operate and maintain solutions systems or processes used during engineering projects. Investigate process or solution failures during projects to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions. Plan and monitor project budget, conduct research and analysis utilizing knowledge of Project Resource Management. Provide input into the design and development of project plans and timelines. Manage project risk using quality tools including FMEA (Failure modes and effects analysis) to identify areas of risk, and work with others to identify alternatives or solutions. Document and share team learnings with other teams and draw on other project team experiences to enhance the success of the project. Use cross functional knowledge in the design and development of project plans to maintain project notes, databases and other records. Monitor measures and communicate with Project Sponsor and other stakeholders on status of specific projects and assignments. Identify and assign appropriate resources to accomplish various project tasks. Perform evaluation of various systems and solutions such as ESG reporting and automation tools, which could include Engineering Data Management (EDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions and recommend the best solution for ESG reporting functions. Approve business workflows and project designs through expertise in regulatory systems integration to ensure not only compliance with current ESG related, or EPA & CARB regulatory standards but also to anticipate and adapt to future regulatory changes. Utilize knowledge of engineering design reviews and performance benchmarking in order to perform systematic evaluation of processes and systems, readiness assessments, and gap analysis for ESG projects.
Positions require a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, or related field and 4 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Cybersecurity, Systems or Performance Engineer, or related position. Experience to include: Scope Management; Schedule Management tools and processes; Project Issue and Risk Management; Failure modes and effects analysis; Cross functional knowledge in the design and development of project plans; Project Resource Management; Engineering Data Management (EDM); Product Lifecycle Management (PLM); Regulatory Systems Integration; Gap analysis.
