We are looking for a talented Production Associate - Level I to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Championing Safe Work Practices - Stopping unsafe work, reporting hazards immediately, and using proper PPE to strengthen an interdependent, injury-free workplace.
- Supporting Environmental Responsibility - Recognizing how daily tasks affect the environment and taking steps to minimize negative impact.
- Maintaining High Quality Standards - Following standard work, documentation, and quality procedures to prevent defects and reduce cost exposure.
- Managing Non-Conforming Material - Identifying, containing, and escalating non-conforming materials to protect product integrity.
- Delivering Reliable Production Output - Operating manual and automated equipment at the required cycle time to meet production goals and customer expectations.
- Maintaining Equipment and Work Areas - Performing routine housekeeping, cleaning, and operator-level maintenance to support equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Collaborating Effectively With Teams - Communicating clearly with peers, skilled trades, and support teams to keep operations aligned and issues resolved.
- Contributing to Continuous Improvement - Participating in efforts that enhance safety, quality, material flow, and employee development.
