We are looking for a Procurement Intern - Operational Purchasing (12-Month Internship) to join our Purchasing team. This is a developmental position in our office in Izmir (full-time job, 5 days per week on site) where you will gain practical experience in operational purchasing, supplier management, and global supply chain operations while building valuable professional and technical skills.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Manage RFQs (Request for Quotations) and coordinate the quotation process with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Create and maintain Purchase Orders (POs).
• Monitor supplier commitments and support continuity of supply activities.
• Participate in meetings with Material Planning, Supplier Quality, and other stakeholders to understand supply-related issues, identify required actions, and support timely resolution.
• Track actions, maintain procurement trackers, and ensure timely follow-up of purchasing-related activities.
• Support supplier communication regarding delivery commitments, capacity concerns, quality issues, and escalations.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to support Purchasing KPIs, operational performance, and business objectives.
• Support process improvement initiatives and procurement projects.
• Collaborate with global teams across different countries and time zones.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

Education

• Final-year university student, graduating soon, or a recent graduate.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.

Skills & Experience

• Fluent English (both written and verbal) as the role involves regular interaction with colleagues and stakeholders across the UK and other global locations.
• Strong listening, comprehension, and communication skills, with the ability to understand business requirements, identify key actions, and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely completion of actions.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
