We are looking for a talented Procurement and Supply Continuity Specialist - Senior to join our team specializing in Purchasing in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Drive strategic sourcing decisions by conducting complex analyses that identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, reduce risk, and enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Strengthen collaboration between suppliers and manufacturing facilities by serving as a key communication link that ensures alignment on priorities, capacity, and delivery requirements.
- Influence business outcomes by preparing and presenting data-driven recommendations and alternative solutions to senior procurement and sourcing leadership.
- Improve operational consistency by evaluating sourcing procedures and ensuring procurement processes are applied effectively across the organization.
- Support supplier performance and business continuity through vendor management, market analysis, and proactive identification of sourcing risks and opportunities.
- Lead capacity management, delivery improvement, and issue resolution initiatives that help ensure uninterrupted supply and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate successful engineering releases and change management activities by coordinating stakeholders and minimizing supply chain disruptions during transitions.
- Develop team capability and organizational effectiveness by leading analytical projects, mentoring less experienced analysts, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Take initiative and act with urgency when addressing supplier, sourcing, capacity, and delivery challenges, driving issues to resolution and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Balance the needs of procurement, manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and business leaders to achieve outcomes that support both operational and strategic objectives.
- Apply strong negotiation skills to secure favorable agreements, manage supplier commitments, and achieve mutually beneficial solutions that support business goals.
- Leverage data analytics and problem-solving methodologies to identify trends, uncover root causes, develop actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Navigate complex sourcing and supply chain challenges by evaluating multiple factors, managing conflicting priorities, and making sound business recommendations.
- Build productive supplier relationships while effectively managing conflict, performance expectations, capacity requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrate expertise in procurement policies, procedures, ethics, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliant, efficient, and effective sourcing decisions.
- Lead projects and proactively mitigate supply base risks by strengthening supplier performance, improving supply continuity, supporting change management activities, and embracing diverse perspectives to drive better business outcomes.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree in supply chain management or a related subject required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Intermediate level of related work experience required
Additional Information:
New role being created to help support EPAD (PSBU Growth) initiatives for Electrical Systems.
Experience in Electrical Systems is a plus but not required.
