Specific information about the area:

Alignment of current standards with Cummins global standards.

Activities:

• Participate in machinery safety risk assessments and in determining alternative protective measures.
• Develop, review, and update the Machinery Safety Program.
• Create action plans to align current standards with Cummins HSE requirements.
• Validate operational controls in machinery.

The student will be developed in:

• Global Safety Principles: Machinery Protection
• HSE Skills for Supervisors
• Cummins Machine Safety Risk Assessment

Requirements:

• Availability for 1 year as an active student (enrolled at the University until June-July 2027).
• Availability to cover 7 morning hours from Monday to Friday, preferably from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Student of: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Must have a Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC).
• English level: Basic to Intermediate (speaking, writing, and listening).
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
