Power Generation Field Service Technician (Lloydminster)

DESCRIPTION

Cummins is looking for a Field service power generation technician to support the local business division in Lloydminster, AB

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Establishes and continually develops productive customer relations and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs
  • Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete complex repairs at customer site.
  • Performs preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules and standards on power generation products in the field
  • Completes required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, quality documents via handwritten forms or business system input screens.
  • Completes training in line with skill and business requirements
  • Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and reports any issues / incidents to site management and to their supervisor

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

Education, license, certification:

  • Heavy duty equipment journeyman certification is required
  • Current relevant electrical certification (is an asset)
  • Locally valid driving permit.
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

  • Intermediate level of field service related experience required.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products is required.
  • High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience

About the role

  • Salary ranges between 45.00$ hourly and 55.00$ hourly, depending on experience
  • Full time on call is required for this position (daily premium)
  • Cummins offers a 5000$ sign on bonus for this role
  • Position to service our business in Lloydminster.
  • Preventive maintenance.
  • Load banking.
  • Engine work.
  • Service truck provided.
