We are looking for an enthusiastic Placement Position Test Cell Operations to join our team Test Cell Operations Business and Pre-test Team in Darlington,UK. This role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer of 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Working towards a BEng or MEng Degree in a technical space (Mechanical Engineering, Motorsports Engineering Etc.)
- Confident in working in both as an individual and in team environments
- Assured communicator with confidence in interacting across various levels of management
- Self Driven with a keen key for eye for quality and setting high standards
- Experience Working in / leading Teams either through education or work
- A basic knowledge of diesel engine fundamentals and practical hands on experience (in this field or another)
- Knowledge of Power BI, also working with support of AI is a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Supporting The Test Cell Operations Manager and Pre-test Team Leader with day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects
- Investigating and solving issues in order for the department to meet it's right first time and Productivity Targets
