Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the daily activities of a production team including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production targets. Works cross functionally to recommend and engage in improving safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Serves as group lead on projects and work assignments. Provides guidance and feedback for team members in accomplishing tasks and goals; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities. Coaches and mentors team members.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Supervisory experience preferred.
Role-Specific Details:
- Experience in handling a unionized workforce.
- Prior experience in genset or engine manufacturing preferred.
- Well-versed in TPM and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
