DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team specializing in Facilities in Daventry, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of the facility, equipment, and infrastructure. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, general repairs and supporting facility operations to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
This is a permanent, on-site role working 37.5 hours per week. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:45am-4:00pm, and Friday, 7:45am-14:45pm.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Preventative Maintenance: Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance tasks (PMs) in line with the department's maintenance plan.
- Inspect and service equipment to minimize downtime and extend asset life.General Support: Assist with operational tasks such as forklift driving, moving furniture, and assembling/installing fixtures.
- Provide support for internal projects and ad-hoc facility requirements.
- General Repairs: Perform repairs to the building and infrastructure within skill and capability limits.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues.
- Facilities Maintenance: Assess the condition of the facility, including systems, structure, interiors, exteriors, and grounds.
- Use software to track work requests from inception to completion.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
- Proven experience in maintenance or facilities roles.
- Knowledge of maintenance activities and practices (beneficial).
- Ability to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
- Forklift license (beneficial).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving license
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with occasional overtime as required.
- Physical work involves lifting, moving, and operating machinery.
- Exposure to varying environmental conditions.
