Long-term Internship - Logistics

Cummins Inc., headquartered in Columbus, United States of America, is among the world's 500 largest industrial enterprises. Cummins Turkey Engine Power Systems Aftermarket team based in Istanbul is looking for a Long-Term Logistics Intern with the specified qualifications to support the team by working on a 12-month contract.

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• We are waiting for applications from candidates who can work in our office in Istanbul / Tuzla on a hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home (after the training period).
• You are currently in your final year of studies (BA / MA) or already graduated from the University.
• You are studying (or completed) a degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, but if you graduated with a degree in another discipline and have an interest in developing your professional career in logistics, we would be glad to hear from you;
• You have strong communication skills and can set up relationships within cross-functional organizations.
• You are characterized by a systematic way of working, the ability to analyze and work in a team, and organizational skills.
• You are confident in using MS Office and specific
• You have the Upper-Intermediate level of the English language and are fluent in the Turkish language.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Carrying out order management for a specific customer / account group.
• Order entry, order change, order status inquiry and prepare order delivery reports.
• Provide consultancy, delivery time, availability, technical support to customers.
• Acting as the customer's sole point of contact for order inquiries and escalation; Manage those escalations and follow until closed.
• Provide continuous customer support in all communications and interactions.
• Tracking, expediting and notifying the customer backorders orders.
• Stock entry of inbound goods.
• Parts claim entry and follow-up management.
• Set insurance certificate related with our imports delivery
