DESCRIPTION

Partner with business functions to define, determine, analyze, document and communicate the objectives, business requirements, and priorities for information systems and solutions. Lead and manage global stakeholders, forecasting and managing project financials using expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture. Work with application and technical experts on the solution design, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of the information systems. Gather, analyze, and document requirements, current practices, workflows, and business needs to identify efficiencies, alternatives, and gaps. Lead the effort to define and document what constitutes business success for large or complex initiatives within a single organization. Lead a group of analysts to elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location). Elicit, analyze, and document non-functional business requirements. Seek out and analyze information regarding the impact of changes within an organization or between organizations, ensuring that the effects of changes are well understood and approved by all the appropriate stakeholders. Lead and conduct solution assessment and validation to ensure that functional and technical specifications meet the identified business needs. Review test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participate in testing the solution to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements. Develop strong relationships to deliver business value using relevant Business Relationship Management practices. Lead Strategic IT Planning to align IT initiatives with business goals. Create and define the solution design complete with instrumentation and measurement, using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to synthesize diagrams, models and documentation in order to build a solution that meets buildability, business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements. Perform Solution Functional Fit Analysis and work to ensure that IT systems are compliant with cybersecurity and regulatory standards. Evaluate and improve IT systems, software and infrastructure and work with business leaders, vendors, and technical teams to enhance IT operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Positions require a Master's degree in Information Science or Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience as an IT Analyst or Consultant, Computer or Software Engineer, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Information Science or Technology, Computer or Software Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as an IT Analyst or Consultant, or Computer or Software Engineer, or related position. Experience to include: Cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture; Solution design, implementation, testing; Requirement Analysis to identify gaps; Document functional requirements across the five aspects (process, information, event, socio-political, and location); Solution Assessment and Validation; Business Relationship Management practices; Strategic IT Planning; Solution Functional Fit Analysis; Ensure IT systems compliant with cybersecurity and regulatory standards.
