Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions; works with business analysts, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Leads the analysis and evaluation of application functionality; provides recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities Leads the determination and documentation of optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications; configures and verifies complex application setup and configuration Remains current on emerging application and solution trends and functionality; provides functional expertise for assigned applications and systems. Leads analysis of potential application solutions, identifying and recommending solutions to address functionality gaps in the application. Develops and maintains strong relationships with relevant vendors; works with vendors to improve application functionality and resolve difficult functionality issues Partners with process owners, business analysts, systems analysts and architects to gather, document and review functional, architecture and technical requirements and define application functional designs. Serves as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support (as needed). Leads the creation and management of functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the program, application, or complete solution Educates, coaches, and trains new and existing team members to improve quality and efficiency in daily process of support requests. Develop strong relationships to deliver business value using relevant Business Relationship Management practices.

Solution Modeling - Creates, designs and formulates models, diagrams and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related subject, or relevant equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Significant relevant experience required. 5-7 years of experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
This is an excellent opportunity that will allow you to shape the design of our IT planning solutions across Cummins for years to come.
Reporting to the Planning IT Leader, the candidate will be responsible for helping to lead the IT solutions delivered by Corporate Supply Chain IT to enable our first fit manufacturing transformation journey.
Immediately upon joining the team, the candidate will be responsible for delivering the "Advanced Planning Solutions Program". This multi-year program is in partnership with Corporate Supply Chain Solutions, Corporate Planning (Transformation and Integrated Supply Chain) function as well as the business units to deliver best in class supply chain planning solutions.
The candidate will be expected to lead the stakeholder management, managing business requirements and design from the front and drive the correct and efficient solutions.
The candidate is expected to demonstrate exemplary requirements gathering skills, capturing requirements in data flow diagrams through to use cases and the resultant test cases.
The candidate's communication skills both spoken and written must be strong as you will be presenting to Supply Chain and site leaders and be comfortable working in the detail as well as at a strategy and 'executive summary' level.

Works with business analysts, architects, technical experts, and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of the applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates Oracle Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Cloud application functionality and provides solution recommendations to improve business processes and capabilities.
- Partners with process owners, stakeholders, and enterprise architects to gather, document, and review functional, architecture, and technical requirements.
- Defines optimum application setup, high-level, and detailed technical solution designs.
- Configures and verifies Oracle Planning Cloud to meet functional demand planning and S&OP requirements and specifications.
- Designs and oversees the development of integration customizations, workflows, and extensions.
- Serves as a subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures, and functionality associated with Oracle Planning Cloud.
- Conducts analysis of potential application solutions, identifying and recommending resolutions for functionality gaps in the application.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with relevant vendors to improve application functionality and resolve functionality issues.
- Creates and manages functional specifications for a given project from which programs and configurations will be applied to create the application or complete solution.
* Qualifications and Competencies
Experience:
- 5 or more years of system analysis and design experience, including the creation of functional requirements for enterprise-level business applications.
- Implementation experience of 3+ years in Oracle Planning Cloud Solutions, specifically in demand planning and S&OP (supply planning knowledge is highly beneficial).
- Experience in the full software development lifecycle process.
- Experience delivering solutions via AGILE methodologies is preferred.

- Certification in Oracle Demantra or Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning is highly beneficial
