Ireland Branch Manager

DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Branch Manager to join our team specialising in General Management within our Distribution Business Unit in Dublin, Ireland.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Manages the day-to-day operations at the Dublin branch; responsible for all functions and financial metrics for the Aftermarket business in Ireland.
- Develops and maintains business relationships with customers, and develops new business partners and alliances for the Branch.
- Own full financial accountability for Ireland, driving strong P&L performance, cost control, and disciplined financial decision-making.
- Lead all supply chain activity in Ireland, strengthening procurement, inventory, storage, and distribution to support customer uptime and service delivery.
- Translate DBU Europe priorities into clear local objectives, KPIs, and progress updates that keep teams aligned and focused.
- Improve customer satisfaction and loyalty by embedding a consistent, customer-focused culture across branch operations.
- Drive operational and cost improvements by sponsoring Lean, COS, and Six Sigma initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure facilities and assets are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose through effective lease, maintenance, branding, and housekeeping management.
- Manage capital investment planning and approvals, ensuring CapEx is aligned to safety, productivity, and service capability needs.
- Strengthen employee engagement and community impact by sponsoring local community involvement initiatives and encouraging participation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Strong financial leadership: Ability to interpret financial data, manage full accounting responsibility, and balance growth, cost, and risk.
- Effective people leadership: Capability to lead through Branch Managers, build high-performing teams, and develop and retain talent.
- Operational excellence focus: Experience driving continuous improvement using Lean, COS, or Six Sigma tools.
- Clear communication and influence: Confidence engaging customers, employees, and stakeholders through clear, audience-appropriate communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- Degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant relevant experience, including people management and budget or P&L responsibility within operational or branch environments.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Sponsor certification is advantageous.
