We are seeking a talented Executive Manager - Product Compliance to join our team in Guarulhos | CBL .

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as the first line of defense in the Latin America Region (LATAM) region for all product compliance matters.
  • Lead and manage escalations with high-level government agencies, when necessary, to meet business needs and ensure compliance.
  • Hold decision-making authority as the primary representative in the VPI Regulatory Corridor (RCRG) for LATAM programs.
  • Ensure fulfillment of regulatory obligations with government agencies and applicable legislation.
  • Lead the development of certification and compliance strategies for On-Highway and Off-Highway products across diverse LATAM regulatory frameworks.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop the team, strengthen technical and regulatory capabilities while building future leaders.
  • Partner with cross-functional and global stakeholders to ensure product readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Represent and support Cummins' position in strategic industry forums across LATAM, collaborating on emissions compliance initiatives.
  • Strengthen escalation, tracking, and recognition mechanisms to ensure timely resolution of issues and highlight significant compliance achievements in the region. To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Previous experience as a Technical Specialist, manager or equivalent position in Technical Management/Engineering, with experience in product, technology, or engineering services.
  • Proven track record of leading projects and influencing results, with direct or indirect reporting responsibility.
  • Strong experience in technical problem-solving, quality-focused decision-making, technical direction, and project team leadership.
  • Ability to manage conflict and make decisions in complex scenarios.

  • Product Development Execution, Monitoring, and Control - Plans, coordinates, and executes development activities aligned with defined technical requirements; monitors resources, timelines, and quality; implements mitigation actions when necessary; understands the full product lifecycle and its stakeholders.
  • Product Verification and Validation Management - Develops validation plans based on risk analysis and failure modes; negotiates requirements considering technical capabilities; evaluates results from simulations, analyses, and physical testing; compares proposed solutions with legacy systems and documents technical recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Systems Requirements Engineering - Translates stakeholder needs into verifiable requirements; defines acceptance criteria; tracks requirements throughout the lifecycle; assesses impacts of scope, schedule, and resource changes; maintains traceability among project artifacts.
  • Technical Documentation - Records and organizes technical information clearly, facilitating knowledge transfer and communication with different audiences.
  • Builds Networks - Develops formal and informal networks inside and outside the organization.
  • Effective Communication - Adapts messages to different audiences and formats, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent STEM field is required.
  • A relevant postgraduate degree (Master's) may be required for certain specific roles.

  • This position may require licensing to comply with export control regulations or sanctions requirements.
