Financial Analyst

DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial and statutory reports at Legal Entity and Department level. Supports corporate functions, regulatory compliance requirements, and business stakeholders through financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Contributes to regulatory reporting including BRSR, RPT, MSME, listed entity compliances, and other evolving statutory requirements within the India region. Ensures integrity of financial data, supports audit processes, and drives continuous improvement in compliance and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and analyze financial reports for corporate functions and department managers.
  • Compile and present legal entity-level analysis for board presentations.
  • Prepare statistical reporting including financial performance analysis, variance explanations, and cost analysis.
  • Interpret financial data by analyzing trends, risks, and opportunities to provide insights to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate financial results against targets and communicate conclusions effectively.
  • Support month-end close activities including data preparation and consolidation.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Partner with assigned organizational units to develop annual budgets.
  • Support expense and staffing forecasts.
  • Assist in statistical and financial forecasting processes to align with business objectives.

Regulatory & Compliance Reporting

  • Support regulatory reporting requirements including BRSR, RPT, MSME, and listed entity compliances.
  • Lead BRSR reporting at the legal entity level, particularly Social and Governance parameters.
  • Manage statutory audit of core BRSR parameters and coordinate reporting on value chain partners.
  • Execute special projects to ensure compliance with the evolving regulatory landscape.
  • Streamline compliance processes across legal entities within the India region.
  • Maintain compliance calendar and ensure timely filings and disclosures.
  • Monitor cross-functional stakeholder inputs and support frontend audit activities and reporting to authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Education

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
  • CA qualification or progress toward a professional certification is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimal to some relevant professional work experience in Finance or Accounting required.
  • Intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience.
  • Exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Experience supporting audits or working with statutory reporting frameworks is advantageous.
