DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Controls Engineer - 2nd shift to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Cummins' business in Columbus, IN.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Strong Technical Foundation in Controls Engineering
You'll need to apply knowledge of controls hardware, software, networking, and automation systems to design, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing processes.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
- College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
- 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in controls engineering or related automation/manufacturing roles required.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and RFIB Bar Code Scanners required; Experience with Siemens (7 Step) is a big plus
Additional Details:
- This is a position that requires production support and cross-functional collaboration to maintain/improve plant deliverables to the customers.
- This role is 100% onsite.
- 2nd Shift Hours: 2 PM till 10 PM
