We are looking for a talented Aftermarket Territory Sales Account Representative- Senior to join our team specializing in Aftermarket Sales for our Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems - Meritor Aftermarket Territory Sales - Occidente Region (Mexico) in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
Role: 70% field, 30% home office.
Job Summary:
Prospects and develops new opportunities to grow the business. Independently develops/executes account plans to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals within the assigned sales territory, market segment or channel partners.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Execute commercial plans across the Occidente-Bajío region, managing a portfolio of Wholesale / Retail Distributors.
- Drive order entry performance aligned to Sales Annual Operation Plan ensuring achievement of volume and revenue targets.
- Manage accounts receivable (past due), ensuring timely collections and healthy account status.Perform regular field visits to distributors, customers, and key accounts to strengthen relationships and drive sell-in / sell-out.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Product, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure service levels and execution of commercial initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for market growth, product penetration, and channel expansion within assigned territory.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Experience Required (At least 3 years)
- Proven experience in automotive aftermarket sales within Mexico, preferably in the heavy-duty (spare parts: drivetrain and braking systems ) / Class 8 segment, such as trucks / trailers / OEM's Distributors / Independent WD chanels
- Strong understanding of the commercial aftermarket ecosystem, including distributors, fleets, workshops, retailers, and end users.
- Hands-on experience operating within B2B, B2C, and retail sales environments, with direct customer engagement and relationship management.
- Demonstrated ability to execute commercial strategies, manage customer accounts, and consistently deliver against sales objectives and performance targets.
- Experience in field sales and territory management roles with a high degree of customer interaction and market presence.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Availability to travel 50% of the time (pool car assignation)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience collaborating with key industry players such as trucks / trailers OEM's , or major aftermarket distributors.
- Knowledge of aftermarket product categories such as braking systems, drivetrain components, and trailer systems.
- Exposure to pricing execution, promotional strategies, and channel management programs.
- Experience utilizing CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Basic-Intermediate English Level
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to analyze sales performance, manage data, and support business reporting.
