Accounts Receivables Associate - Level II

DESCRIPTION
The Accounts Receivable Associate - Level II supports the Accounts Receivable Commercial function within Cummins Services. This role works closely with internal and external customers to ensure timely collection of Accounts Receivable balances. The position performs routine to moderately complex activities under moderate supervision and contributes to continuous improvement of AR processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute customer statements of accounts.
- Respond to basic customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Analyze customer accounts to identify discrepancies, overdue balances, and trends.
- Conduct basic root cause analysis for late payments and recommend process improvements.
- Assist with month-end close activities and reporting related to Accounts Receivable.
- Participate in projects and initiatives focused on improving Accounts Receivable efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with financial internal controls and Cummins policies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience:
- Requires some prior work experience or intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training, or on-the-job experience in Accounts Receivable, Finance, or a related function.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience that meets applicable regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external customers in a professional environment.
