Accounting Associate - Level II

Job Summary:

Supports account reconciliation and analysis, journal entry preparation and data entry. Supports the month-end close process. Performs activities under moderate supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Compiles, consolidates and conducts basic analysis of accounting and finance information.Prepares basic journal entries.Performs monthly and annual account reconciliations.Assists with preparation of tables, charts and other exhibits for reports.May perform less complex accounting projects or participate as a team member on more complex projects.Performs ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. To ensure the timely and accurate preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations (including AR, AP, Cash, and other key accounts) for the USA and Europe regions, for CMI and India Statutory reporting.
  2. To work on timely resolution of open items & Timely escalation of open items to stakeholder
  3. To analyze the BS Reconciliation and GL data on monthly basis and record the correction / regrouping JE in to GL on monthly basis
  4. To ensure zero gaps in SOX, Internal Audits and Statutory Audit.
  5. Achieve targets to meet customer expectations and strive to deliver high-quality experiences every time.

6.Expand BU centralization, to reduce accounting process duplication, and deliver cost efficiencies (GCA/BU)

7.Support critical business initiatives, leveraging system standardization opportunities to align and integrate work in the GCA

Technical Skills

  • Financial data management and reconciliations.
  • Basic accounting principles and financial controls.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and financial modelling capabilities.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required

Some relevant work experience in Finance, Accounting, or related areas preferred.
