We are looking for a talented 2 nd Shift Product Functional Test Mechanical Tech - Level III - OFFC to join our team specializing in Engineering at our facility in Stoughton, WI, US.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Build, repair, and prepare complex test articles and auxiliary equipment to ensure every test setup is safe, accurate, and ready for execution.
• Install test articles into rigs, tables, cells, and structures with precision, helping engineers validate product performance under real-world conditions.
• Execute tests according to established procedures and methodologies, ensuring compliance, repeatability, and high-quality results.
• Deliver accurate and reliable test data that directly supports engineering decisions, product validation, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Configure and operate data acquisition systems while reviewing and analyzing collected data to confirm test integrity and identify performance trends or anomalies.
• Apply deep technical understanding of both the test equipment and the product under test to ensure results are valid, meaningful, and actionable.
• Troubleshoot test stands, laboratory systems, and instrumentation efficiently, minimizing downtime and maintaining operational readiness across the lab environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams by providing recommendations on equipment upgrades, supplier evaluations, instrumentation specifications, and facility improvements that enhance testing capability and efficiency. Bottom of Form

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.
Regionally applicable certification or two year Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Additional Info:
- The ideal candidate for the role will be well versed in troubleshooting automotive systems such as wiring issues, J1939 CAN communication networks, and diesel engine performance issues
- Must be able to operate PIV, Hoist, and Crane
- Ability to troubleshoot complex problems
- Basic knowledge of Diesel Engines and Aftertreatment Components preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of computers and computer programs preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Ability to multitask many priorities or assignments at the same time
