Sr. Manager, I&T Plasma Digital Products
This role is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, and lifecycle management of digital products within the Plasma platform. The position partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to define outcomes, scale innovative digital solutions, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, regulatory, and security standards. This leader manages cross-functional teams and vendors, applies modern delivery methodologies, and serves as a subject-matter authority to drive reliable, value-focused digital capabilities in a regulated environment.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Establish and maintain relationships with the key business and technology stakeholders
2. Collaborate with business partners to understand needs and define solution
outcomes.
3. Identify and scale new digital products that align with market and organizational goals
4. Monitor and apply emerging technologies to enhance existing solutions.
5. Contribute to the creation of roadmaps of prioritized future capabilities for their solution/product domain.
6. Serve as a subject matter expert and solution authority within the product
domain.
7. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within governance frameworks.
8. Proactively address technical issues, reduce technical debt, and harmonize
architecture.
9. Apply technical knowledge, including agile practices, to solve business problems.
10. Prepares activity and progress reports regarding applications, systems operations programming and project activities for area of responsibility.
11 Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and enterprise standards.
12 .Manages lifecycle management activities of solution/product in line with enterprise application processes and non-functional roadmaps. Performance and support coordination with both internal, external and non-technical resources
13. Enable appropriate training, coaching, and delegation to team members, vendors etc. who report into this role.
14. Foster effective communication with team members for solution/product release plans, status updates and issue reporting.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience, preferably concentrated in IT, Engineering or Science
Experience
• 7+ years IT experience, including specific experience in solution/product
development and management
• Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environment experience desirable
• Experience managing solution/product technologies and digital initiatives at a
global and/or regional level.
• Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling,
prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
• Has advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced
education and prior experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of multiple delivery methodologies from traditional
waterfall to Agile/Lean/DevOps/Product methodologies.
• Experience in envisioning solution ecosystems and requirements that would
be needed in place to establish one
• Demonstrated ability to quantify resource requirements and measure and
communicate proposed project benefits
• Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills
• Demonstrated ability to engage both technical and business partners to
achieve target outcomes
• Outstanding ability to influence leadership, peers, and other internal and
external stakeholder groups, and communicate in a clear, concise and
effective manner.
• Experience of working in heavily matrixed organizations.
• Adaptable to handle a fast-paced working environment
