Sr. Director, Site Head Supply Chain
The Senior Director, Site Head of Supply Chain is an important site and network leader accountable for ensuring reliable, compliant, and cost-effective supply of quality products to patients and customers. You will lead all end-to-end supply chain activities at the Kankakee manufacturing site while integrating the site into the Global Supply Network through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
You will ensure alignment of site execution with global demand, network strategies, lifecycle management, and enterprise priorities. You will carry full accountability for supply chain performance during investigations, major projects, internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
The CSL Behring Kankakee manufacturing facility bases the role and the Global Head of Site Supply Chain receives the report, with the Vice President, Manufacturing and Site Head, Kankakee, maintaining a dotted-line relationship. Functions reporting into this role include Supply Planning, Procurement Operations, Site Logistics, Detailed Scheduling, and Supply Chain Support.

Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for all site supply chain activities, ensuring on-time, in-full delivery of quality products in alignment with global demand, network strategies, and customer requirements.
- Lead a high-performing leadership team through talent selection, performance management, succession planning, coaching, and development to ensure sustained organizational capability and leadership pipeline readiness.
- Serve as the primary site interface to global supply chain functions, including Integrated Business Planning (IBP), network planning, lifecycle management, supply chain systems and data, supplier relations, external manufacturing (CMO) planning, and global logistics.
- Lead site-level and enterprise-level decision making related to supply, capacity, inventory, and service trade-offs, utilizing advanced financial and scenario analysis to support optimal outcomes across the network.
- Development and implementation of policies and practices to ensure 1) the time and quantity-oriented manufacture of the required products and 2) a compliant production (c-GMP, safety, environmental protection, health care) continuous improvement of Supply Chain processes (processes, equipment, layouts) and for cost reduction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in business; MBA or advanced degree in related discipline preferred
- 12 years' supply chain experience including management in multi-location environments, supervising technical specialists /cGMPs and GDP
- Strong knowledge of Pharmaceutical best practices
- Demonstrated success negotiating commercial contracts
- Demonstrated expertise in supply planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and ERP systems (SAP or Kinaxis preferred)

The expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $218,000 - $267,000. Please note this salary range reflects the minimum and maximum base pay that CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base salary for a successful candidate is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors. In addition to base salary, total compensation for this role may also include incentive compensation and equity.
