The Senior Engineer, Donor Management Systems supports Plasma Applications by providing full stack application maintenance and operational reporting to achieve business objectives and address any I&T issue that may present in degraded center operations or impact to donor facing services including payments. This role ensures the stability, reliability, and performance of donor-facing systems by addressing I&T issues that may arise during degraded center operations, including impacts to donor services such as payments, in order to meet business objectives.

1. Oversee database performance and configuration to support both application and donor-facing processes, including object implementation, query optimization, and performance tuning.
2. Collaborate on ESB lifecycle management, ensuring channel and component configurations are appropriately aligned to use case and environment.
3. Evaluate emerging technologies to enable integration across medical devices, PDAs, and enterprise applications;.
4. Administer and tune application server environments (e.g., WebLogic) to ensure availability, scalability, and performance across clustered production workloads
5. Participate in production incident response and on-call rotation, coordinating with cross-functional teams to restore service and document corrective actions
6. Contribute to capacity planning and cloud modernization initiatives, supporting migration and re-architecture efforts for legacy on-premises workloads
7. Execute environment changes in line with application lifecycle management and in compliance with CSL operating procedures.
8. Develop and maintain Operational Reporting using JasperSoft or Power BI or similar technology.
Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; education preferably concentrated in IT, Engineering or Science
- 5+ years' IT experience in Life Sciences or bioPharma industry.
- Oracle DB, Weblogic experience preferred, Spring Boot, AWS administration a plus, JasperSoft or equivalent, Power Bi or equivalent, familiarity with cloud tooling preferred.
- Travel: Potential travel for workshops to support projects.
