Scientist, Method Development (m/f/x)

Key responsibilities and activities:

• Responsible for designing and performing experiments.
• Development and implementation of novel analytical methods according to analytic quality by design principles and phase-appropriate qualification according to project and product demands.
• Support the transfer of qualified method to regulated environment at the appropriate site (QC, CROs).
• Author lab procedures, protocols, reports and SOPs for internal and/or external partners. Present at internal and external seminars and conferences.
• Responsible for instruments operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Qualifications and past experiences :

• Postgraduate degree (Master or PhD) in biological sciences, biophysics or analytical chemistry with experience in the area of biomolecule characterization.
• Experience in the development of analytical methodologies for qualitative, quantitative or functional characterization of proteins using different biochemical, biophysical techniques.
• Hands-on experience on techniques for analysis of protein structure or function.
• Good understanding of scientific process, including hypothesis development and experimental design (DoE) with ability to capture and record complex scientific data accurately and reliably.
• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills with ability to work independently and in a team environment.
