The Opportunity
As Medical Manager, you will play a key scientific role within Medical Affairs Germany, contributing to the development and execution of medical strategy for assigned products and therapy areas. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of science, healthcare, and cross-functional collaboration, supporting evidence-based decision-making and appropriate product adoption.
You will engage in high-quality scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders, generate and translate medical insights, and help shape medical education and evidence generation initiatives that positively impact patient care and public health. The role provides exposure to regional and global Medical Affairs activities, including collaboration across the DACH region, within a highly ethical, compliant, and science-driven environment.
The Role:
- You will provide strategic medical and scientific expertise for assigned products and therapy areas, supporting brand strategy, lifecycle planning, product launches, and interactions with health authorities as required.
- You will develop and execute elements of the local medical plan, contributing to medical projects including real-world evidence generation, investigator-initiated research, publications, and healthcare professional education initiatives aligned with strategic priorities.
- You will act as a medical expert in scientific exchange with external stakeholders, including KOLs and HCPs, through advisory boards, scientific meetings, presentations, and medical education activities, while building and maintaining trusted external relationships.
- You will ensure all promotional and non-promotional materials and activities are reviewed and approved in compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and codes of conduct, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support compliant ways of working.
- You will also contribute to additional Medical Affairs activities and ad hoc projects in line with business needs and strategic objectives.

- Advanced scientific or medical qualification (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent)
- Experience within Medical Affairs, Medical Management, or a related scientific role in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or vaccine industry
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex scientific and clinical data to diverse audiences
- Experience engaging with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and external medical experts in a compliant manner
- Solid understanding of medical governance, regulatory requirements, and codes of conduct
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
