Electrical Engineer

As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and reliability of site infrastructure, including ownership of all electrical systems and associated equipment. This role also involves managing compliance with electrical safety standards, overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance, and serving as the primary liaison with external power providers to ensure uninterrupted supply and timely resolution of utility-related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for facility operations and new projects. Ensure integration with existing infrastructure, compliance with specifications, and successful commissioning of installations.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs and provide technical expertise for equipment reliability.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal electrical codes, NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and GMP standards. Maintain accurate documentation of electrical designs, schematics, and maintenance records to support audits and regulatory requirements.
- Work with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams during equipment commissioning and validation. Provide electrical expertise to ensure systems meet performance and compliance criteria.
- Identify and implement energy-saving measures and sustainable practices. Participate in projects aimed at reducing energy consumption and supporting corporate environmental objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Experience with electrical system design, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards.
