Business Development Coordinator
The Business Development Coordinator provides essential administrative, coordination and operational support to the Heads of BD Transactions and BD Therapeutic Areas and their respective teams. This role ensures smooth functioning of day-to-day operations, enabling senior leaders to focus on strategic activities and cross-functional enterprise tasks. It serves as a central point of organisation, communication and logistical support across the broader BD function.

Executive Support for BD Leadership
- Provide high-quality executive assistance to the Heads of BD Transactions and BD TA, including complex calendar management, travel arrangements, correspondence management, meeting scheduling and expense reconciliation.
- Coordinate confidential communications, meeting preparation, briefing materials and document organisation for senior-level engagements and governance forums.
Team & Operational Coordination
- Support operational needs across the BD Transactions and BD TA teams, including tracking team priorities, coordinating deadlines, maintaining shared calendars and managing team logistics.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of regular and ad-hoc team meetings, workshops, offsites, training sessions and events.
Document & Process Management
- Prepare, format, proofread, and organise documents, presentations, status updates, and internal communications required for BD activities.
- Maintain shared systems, departmental files, collaboration sites, and document repositories to ensure accessibility and version control.
Governance & Meeting Support
- Assist in the coordination of BD-related governance meetings, including agenda development, scheduling, stakeholder communication and capturing action items.
- Support the organisation of diligence sessions, negotiation meetings and cross-functional BD reviews by managing logistics and preparing materials.
Stakeholder Interface & Communication
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely responses, professional communication and appropriate routing of requests.
- Support cross-functional engagement by coordinating meetings across R&D, Legal/IP, Finance, Strategy, Commercial and Regulatory partners.
General Administrative Support
- Handle vendor coordination, purchase orders, invoices and administrative compliance activities as needed.
- Support onboarding of new BD team members, including access setup, induction materials and orientation scheduling.
