Job Title: Analytics Co-op, Strategic Forecasting & AI
Function: Global Forecasting & Portfolio Analytics, CSL Behring
Location: King of Prussia, PA (hybrid)
Programs of interest: MBA, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, MIS
Cycle: 6 months, full-time
Why this role exists:
- The function is scaling on two fronts at once. First, strategic forecasting demand is growing across the portfolio as long range forecasting needs and complexity, for both inline and BD perspective, is evolving .
- Second, the team is investing in AI and agentic tooling to accelerate forecasting& BD&L workflows.
- A technically strong co-op embedded for 6 months can contribute to both, and prove out as a future full-time hire.
What the co-op will do:
- Support strategic forecasting work for priority pipeline assets and in-line brands, including patient flow modeling, scenario analysis, and assumption triangulation
- Build and extend AI tooling that supports forecasting & BD&L analytics workflows ( including integrations with CI and Market research)
- Develop Python utilities for data wrangling, source ingestion, and output automation
- Translate analytics outputs into clear written summaries for senior commercial stakeholders
- Participate in the team's ML and AI literacy program alongside full-time staff
- Document methodologies and workflows so the team can self-serve
Required:
- Junior or senior in CS, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related
- Python fluency
- Comfortable with API calls, JSON, and basic prompt engineering
- Strong written communication
- Curiosity about commercial pharma analytics and willingness to learn forecasting fundamentals
Preferred
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI), agent frameworks, or vector databases
- Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or AWS Bedrock
- Coursework or prior internship in forecasting, market research, or commercial analytics
- Prior co-op or internship in analytics or data science
