About the Role:
Talent Operations is the function, team members, and processes responsible for enabling the overall talent organization to work more effectively, to execute locally and at scale, and to create new value by incorporating more modern practices, deploying more innovative technologies and delivering more consistent outcomes.
This customer facing role provides high-quality support as the primary contact for candidates and employees by servicing inquiries regarding background check and on-boarding process. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an all hands on deck environment, can wear multiple hats, enjoys interacting with people, and is passionate about finding ways to support our candidates and employees. The ideal candidate would be someone who can learn quickly, is very detail-oriented, loves finding solutions to problems, and holds confidentiality in high regard. What You'll Do:
- Manages end-to-end background check processes using the Sterling (now First Advantage) platform, ensuring compliance with global privacy laws and employment regulations
- Collaborates closely with our Global Security team to assess and process adverse findings according to company policy and regulatory requirements
- Monitors and tracks background check completion metrics to ensure alignment with hiring timelines
- Ensures an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow-up and communication throughout the candidate's life cycle from offer acceptance to start date
- Serves as the subject matter expert for Talent processes and procedures by accurately advising candidates, employees and managers on the appropriate actions needed to proceed
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Works closely with third party stakeholders where required to provide information in accordance with local employment legislation
- May assist with other projects as assigned
- Bachelor's degree or related business field coupled with 1 - 3 years' experience in Human Resources
- Experience with background check management, onboarding and processing TA related transactions
- Self-starter with initiative, positive attitude, and passion for delivering an excellent candidate experience
- Experience as first line of contact for candidates or customer service related role
- Process improvement, training, communication and project management skills
- Strong communication skills with ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
- Superb attention to detail required as well as excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
- Ability to work cross functionally, problem solve and adapt in a fast pace environment
- Ability to work at all levels in an organization and across different cultures
- Integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information
- Experience with HR and Background Check Systems:
- Workday (job requisitions, candidate profiles and onboarding modules)
- Sterling and/or First Advantage background check platforms
- ServiceNow case management and ticketing
