Job Summary

Oldcastle APG is looking for a Web Specialist to manage and maintain the company's websites by updating content, improving user experience, and ensuring technical functionality. Key duties include collaborating with designers and developers, optimizing content for search engines (SEO), analyzing website performance, and coordinating with marketing teams on digital campaigns. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and attention to detail to ensure brand consistency and accuracy.

Job Responsibilities

  • Content management: Update, edit, and publish new content for the website and other digital platforms, ensuring accuracy and brand consistency
  • Website maintenance: Ensure the website is functional, secure, and up-to-date by performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting any technical issues

  • User Experience (UX): Identify and implement ways to improve the website's user experience based on data and user feedback
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing, creative teams, and IT, to support content development and digital initiatives
  • Performance analysis: Monitor website traffic and user engagement using analytics tools, and provide reports to inform strategy


Job Requirements

  • Technical - Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), specifically WordPress, basic understanding of HTML/CSS, and familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics
  • Soft - Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and project management skills are essential
  • Management - Experience in website management, content creation, and digital marketing is beneficial. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects
  • Education - A degree in a business-related field such as communications, web design, or marketing is preferred, but not mandatory
