Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive a 45‑ft. tanker tractor‑trailer in compliance with all applicable laws and dispatcher instructions.
- Conduct accurate pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of all products being loaded and delivered.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and job site personnel regarding deliveries and special instructions.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT/OSHA regulations.
- Interact professionally with peers, contractors, and the general public.
- Regularly climb into and out of the truck cab using proper 3‑point contact.
- Stand for extended periods during loading and unloading in hot or variable weather conditions.
- Perform additional duties or travel to other company facilities as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and perform manual labor.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful completion of pre‑employment screenings (drug screen, background check, driving record review).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to drive an automatic transmission.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Valid Class A or B CDL and current DOT medical card.
- Two years of commercial driving experience preferred.
