Job Summary

The purpose of the Shipping Associate/Packer is to ensures safe and accurate packing/skidding of outbound orders to arrive at our customer in a quality condition. Shipping Associate/Packer is accountable for the execution and accuracy of the order picking and packing process through completion.

Job Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute Pick Lists to Pick team
• Ensure correct product is picked and document accordingly
• Check quality of product and report findings to Lead, Supervisor or QC if necessary
• Select proper packaging materials
• Pack product to ensure safe transit to deliver in a quality condition
• Weigh shipment
• Provides necessary documentation to Shipping Clerk for processing
• Generate and ensure accurate application of all required skid/pallet labeling for shipment

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading and math skills. Must be able to follow directions
• Exercises independent initiative/judgement in work methods
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $17.00/hr + $1.50/hr shift differential
