Your Role as a Roller Operator
- Operate a range of heavy equipment efficiently and safely on road, site, and highway construction and paving projects.
- Control material flow and distribution, ensuring precise paving and compaction to meet high quality standards.
- Gain a deep understanding of paving processes-preparatory work, grading, drainage, aggregate selection, compaction, and more.
- Report issues promptly and contribute to a safe work environment for all team members.

- Follow all company policies, as well as OSHA/MSHA regulations, to maintain a safe, productive job site.
- Support and train less experienced team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Perform equipment inspections, minor service, and general labor as needed.
- Demonstrate leadership in quality control, safety practices, and teamwork.
- Adapt to additional duties assigned, embracing challenges and growth opportunities .

We're looking for professionals with:
- A commitment to passing pre-employment screenings and a "Fit for Work" physical.
- Valid documentation for I-9 and a current driver's license meeting state standards.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a courteous attitude at all times.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word) and a keen attention to detail.
- Reliability-show up on time, ready to contribute.
- The flexibility to travel, work nights, weekends, and in outdoor environments from summer heat to winter cold.
- A strong sense of teamwork and willingness to help colleagues accomplish shared goals.
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment as required.
- Minimum age 18 and a high school diploma or GED.
- MVR that meets company standards.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Frequently required to climb, balance, and perform tasks involving physical agility.
- Regularly sit, climb, and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, or reach above shoulder height.
- Lift and move objects weighing up to 25-50 lbs as needed.
- Work primarily outdoors, often in extreme weather and environmental conditions.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery, high places, airborne particles, and loud environments.
- Must have specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, to operate equipment safely.
- Reasonable accommodations provided as necessary to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
