We are seeking an exceptional Quality Control Laboratory Manager to lead our Quality Control program across hot mix asphalt, ready-mix concrete, and aggregate production. Key Responsibilities

• Champion Safety: Foster a culture of safety, ensuring strict adherence to all company Safety Policies for both employees and visitors.
• Drive Quality & Integrity: Maintain uncompromising standards in quality control testing, upholding the integrity of our products and processes.
• Lead & Develop Teams: Oversee daily operations of the Quality Control Department, including scheduling, supervising, training, and mentoring Quality Control Technicians. Inspire your team to deliver their best.
• Deliver Results: Provide clear, timely communication of test results and actionable technical guidance to support product reliability and performance.
• Build Partnerships: Serve as the primary point of contact with external testing agencies-state DOTs, local municipalities, and independent laboratories-ensuring seamless collaboration and compliance.
• Manage Compliance: Liaise with specifying agencies for Qualified Product List (QPL) status and maintain laboratory approval with DOTs.
• Organize for Success: Ensure laboratory and mobile equipment are clean, organized, and well-maintained for optimal operations.
• Anticipate Needs: Review job proposals to proactively address customer requirements and expectations.
• Advance Materials Design: Support the preparation and submission of asphalt mix designs, concrete mix designs, and aggregate submittals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Analyze for Excellence: Evaluate statistical data and product specifications to ensure consistency, reliability, and continuous improvement in our products.
• Resolve & Improve: Investigate customer complaints, collaborate on resolutions, and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction and performance.
• Maintain Precision: Keep meticulous records of test results, reports, and related documentation.
• Ensure Readiness: Guarantee required asphalt mix designs are updated and available for production needs.
• Optimize Production: Determine cold-feed aggregate percentages to maintain desired gradations and quality standards.
• Empower Teams: Effectively delegate responsibilities, hold team members accountable, and encourage professional growth.
