Purchasing Specialist - Carroll Concrete (Newport, New Hampshire):

What can you expect:

• Starting at $27/hour and up based on experience.
• Annual increase potential

• Create and manage Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy of quantities, pricing- Identify and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery performance.
• Request quotes, negotiate pricing, and secure cost-effective purchasing agreements.
• Maintain purchasing information records, preferred vendor lists, and source lists where applicable.
• Track purchase requisitions through approval workflows and ensure timely conversion to purchase orders
• Receiving & Quality Control
• Inventory Management
• Maintain communication with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and address issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.

• Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe work environment.
• Excellent computer skills including outlook, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with P2P systems preferred.
• Possess solid organization and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
• Good decision-making skills and detailed oriented.
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisor with other duties as required.
• Must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.
• A valid driver's license.
