Position Summary

Thompson Arthur Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Project Coordinator to support project teams through accurate cost tracking, documentation management, and administrative coordination. This role ensures timely, compliant, and organized project support across multiple heavy civil and construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Cost accounting support for active construction projects
• Work with Estimating/Operations team to complete monthly project invoicing and track payment status
• Format new project information into job setup sheets
• Coordinate with subcontractors to collect project specific insurance documents prior to work beginning on the project
• Build new project information sheets to distribute to field personnel
• Assist in 2 week and extended outlook scheduling of jobs
• Code and process incoming packing slips with accuracy and timeliness
• Coordinate administrative paper flow and maintain electronic project files
• Produce KPI reports, conduct variance analysis, and support monthly forecasting

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant experience; construction industry experience is preferred
• Diploma or Degree in Business Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management or related field preferred but not required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational, analytical, and prioritization abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to support continuous improvement and team collaboration
