Position Summary

Dufferin Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Project Administrator to support project teams through accurate cost tracking, documentation management, and administrative coordination. This role ensures timely, compliant, and organized project support across multiple heavy civil and construction activities.

Responsibilities

  • Cost accounting support for active construction projects
  • Code and process incoming packing slips with accuracy and timeliness
  • Review and approve daily field logs for completeness and accuracy
  • Order and maintain utility locate files in alignment with company processes
  • Track rental equipment and approve electronic rental invoices
  • Coordinate administrative paper flow and maintain electronic project files
  • Produce KPI reports, conduct variance analysis, and support monthly forecasting
  • Resolve pricing discrepancies with Purchasing and prepare financial performance reports


Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience; construction industry experience is an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational, analytical, and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to support continuous improvement and team collaboration
