PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth daily production operations and worker welfare support.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitoring, checking, and collecting all incoming rebar documentation from suppliers and customers at the production receiving area, ensuring proper sorting and immediate issuance of work orders to the production supervisor.
- Accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining relevant data in the system.
- Managing worker timesheets and calculating overtime.
- Preparing threading reports and handling dormitory-related matters.
- Coordinating worker training such as Multiskill, Coretrade, CSOC, and OFAC.
- Booking clinic appointments for workers and assisting them with leave and medical certificate updates in the Times system.
- Supporting workers with air ticket arrangements and arrival card assistance when needed.
- Updating the training plan matrix and submitting monthly worker working hours to HR Malaysia.
- Manage work permit applications and renewals.
- It is not possible to enumerate all duties but your scope covers all Production related responsibilities. Your duties will also extend to other departments as and when required.

KEY FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree Higher Diploma or equivalent qualification in related discipline
- Some working experience would be an advantage, including hands on and report/document writing
- Exposure to Multinational Culture Work environment
- Enthusiastic, driven, self-starting, problem solver with a 'can do' attitude and takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
- Must be capable of managing multiple tasks, using their own initiative and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Possess excellent H&S awareness.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all level of people in a professional manner and team oriented.
- High level of integrity, ethics with ability to use discretion in handling proprietary and sensitive information.
