Job Summary
The Product Owner is accountable for defining and delivering the strategy, vision, and execution of a world-class, highly technical digital services platform supporting the water solutions business. This role sits at the intersection of field service, manufacturing, logistics, artificial intelligence, digital solutions, and data-owning the end-to-end product lifecycle from vision through delivery and adoption.
You will partner closely with business leaders, operations, IT, and external vendors to ensure the platform enables scalable service operations, exceptional customer experience, and measurable business outcomes. This role requires deep technical fluency, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate complex operational needs into prioritized, value-driven product delivery.

- This role will work hybrid out of our office in the Sandy Springs, GA area.

Job Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy for the digital water solutions platform, aligned to business growth, customer experience, and operational excellence.
- Establish clear product outcomes tied to KPIs such as service efficiency, uptime, first-time fix rate, cost to serve, and customer satisfaction.
- Anticipate future needs across field service, maintenance, warranties, parts, and asset lifecycle management in a complex building material solutions environment.
- Champion a world-class, scalable, and modern platform that supports both current operations and future digital roadmaps.
Business & Stakeholder Partnership
- Act as the primary business owner for the platform, partnering with Service, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and IT.
- Facilitate discovery sessions to translate business needs into clear product capabilities and value-based priorities.
- Balance competing demands while maintaining alignment with enterprise architecture, data, security, and compliance standards.
- Communicate product vision, roadmap, and delivery progress to executive stakeholders and governance forums.
Delivery & Execution
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring work is sequenced to maximize business value, customer experience, and speed to market.
- Write and refine epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and measurable outcomes.
- Partner with engineering, architects, and vendors to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.
- Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while supporting agile, iterative delivery and rapid course correction.
- Drive strong release planning, dependency management, and cross-team coordination.
Technical & Platform Ownership
- Serve as a highly technical product owner, with working knowledge of:
- Field service management platforms (e.g., FSM, EAM, or custom-built solutions)
- ERP integrations (e.g., SAP)
- Mobile field service applications
- APIs, data flows, and system integrations
- Cybersecurity principles
- Data repositories (e.g. Snowflake)
- Data Visualization Platforms (e.g. Tableau)
- Ensure the platform is built with scalability, resilience, security, and clean architecture in mind.
- Own decisions around technical tradeoffs, legacy capability decommissioning, and modernization.
Adoption, Change & Continuous Improvement
- Drive adoption through strong change management, training alignment, and user feedback loops.
- Measure success through data, analytics, and operational performance metrics.
- Continuously improve the platform by incorporating user feedback, operational insights, and emerging technologies.
Job Requirements
Required
- 7+ years of experience in product management or product ownership for enterprise platforms
- Proven experience owning mission-critical, highly technical platforms in complex operational environments
- Strong understanding of service management, field service, asset management, or manufacturing-adjacent systems
- Experience working in agile delivery models with cross-functional teams
- Ability to translate business strategy into executable product roadmaps
Preferred
- Experience in building materials, water solutions, field service maintenance, manufacturing, industrial services, or heavy asset industries
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or equivalent FSM/EAM tools
- Strong data and analytics mindset
- Experience leading large-scale platform development, transformations, or consolidations
