Job Summary

The Master Data Coordinator is responsible for managing the ongoing quality, accuracy, and completeness of corporate master data across the organization. They ensure master data integrity in the ERP and other key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support data cleansing and quality. Responsible for assisting in standardizing processes to streamline efficiencies while ensuring proper audit trail. This role also handles data quality reports to ensure data standards are being met - identify, investigate, and resolve data gaps, and actively find opportunities for process improvements. This position works within the Master Data Management team and very closely with Shared Services, IT, Special Projects, and Commercial and Operational Teams including Sales, Sales Support, and Production Operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Processes master data requests in line with standard processes and respond to queries in a timely fashion.
  • Understands the impact of master data within the organization and systems for applicable data domains.
  • Updates the ERP and other key systems for master data elements as required.
  • Work with Master Data Team to determine customer/vendor/material data requirements.
  • Maintain data integrity information within the framework of given policy.
  • Work with cross functional team on major projects
  • Conduct periodic data cleaning to update key data elements based on company policy.
  • Assist in the cleanup of existing products in ERP based on new policy and processes.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma required, some college is a plus.
  • Manages concurrent tasks, is detail oriented, responsive, and demonstrates independent thought and critical thinking.
  • Organized methodical application of established data governance standards
  • Comfortable coordinating with stakeholders to protect the integrity of the data management process.
  • Inquisitive and thorough in approach.
  • Displays a passion for working in master data management.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, with the ability to deal with high levels of complexity, change and evolving processes, often at short notice.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to work and communicate well with a group.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Construction Industry knowledge is a plus.
