Permacon, a CRH Company, is a North American leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon operates 9 plants and employs over 450 employees at their different sites in Quebec and Ontario.
Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Masonry Sales Representative that will cover the Western area of Greater Toronto, Hamilton and Niagara Region.
Reporting to the Masonry Sales Manager, the Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting sales targets in his/her territory by servicing existing accounts and seeking out new opportunities with industry professionals.
Job Responsibilities
The chosen candidate will develop and maintain ongoing relationships with customers by assessing their needs, providing technical assistance, following up on projects, providing after sales service and negotiating agreements. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for updating the companies CRM, developing their network, participating in industry events as well as other sales and promotional activities.
- Ensure presence and visibility with customers (current and prospective) by assessing their needs
- Provide technical assistance to customers
- Ensure customers are trained and educated to install our products
- Monitor new projects and ensure a presence on construction sites
- Schedule meetings with clients
- Enter all information, relevant data and follow-ups with customers into the CRM (Salesforce)
- Ensure excellent after-sales service and receive claims
- Negotiate agreements and contracts
- Identify new opportunities
- Conduct lunch and learn presentations
- Participation in showrooms and trade shows
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with distributors, installers and masons
- Be on the lookout for all key information about the competition
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in the building products industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Prospecting and negotiation skills
- Available for occasional overnight travel
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Valid driver's license
Job compensation/Benefits
- Annual base salary of 65 000 $
