Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician will perform all maintenance tasks as needed, especially those which require specific technical skills and knowledge in the manufacturing of plastic products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Repair all maintenance tasks as needed
  • Perform diagnoses of complex problems on plastic injection and blow molding machines, as well as related equipment such as grinders, compressors, chillers, etc.
  • Perform all electrical repairs on molding machines by use of electrical schematics
  • Use welders, blow torches, drills, saws, and other tools to manufacture tools or parts used in the repair and maintenance of machines and equipment
  • Operate the controls of the machines in order to determine problems and test solutions
  • Read hydraulic drawings and make repairs as needed
  • Work with 480V 3-phase
  • Operate hand and power tools, tow motor, high lift, saws, welders, and grinder
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required


Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Requires at least 3 years of experience with the operation and/or repair of plastic injection molding and blow molding machines
  • Requires at least 3 years of experience working with electrical components
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Frequent walking/standing
