Job Summary

Oversee Raw Material and Finished Goods Inventory Levels.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and process transfer orders and related documents to move product between plants, using correct movement types and ensuring accurate ERP transaction flow
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers and warehouse teams to ensure timely pickups, tracking, and delivery, maintaining accurate shipping documentation
  • Monitor in‑transit and on‑hand inventory and resolve discrepancies quickly by collaborating with receiving teams and correcting system records
  • Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy by triggering counts for transferred items and documenting root causes of variances
  • Maintain full traceability of transferred materials by ensuring correct lot/serial documentation and adherence to standard identification practices
  • Communicate risks or delays to scheduling, logistics, and inventory teams and propose alternative transfer or routing solutions when issues arise
  • Produce simple daily or weekly transfer reports showing in‑transit status, delivery performance, and exceptions requiring action
  • Ensure accurate data entry and documentation in ERP/WMS systems to keep inventory records reliable and transfers auditable

Job Requirements

  • Computer skills, Excel, Outlook, and network navigation
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook with the ability to learn additional software as needed
  • Navigate and utilize ERP and MRP systems - Lawson knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb customer service orientation
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work closely with, coach and develop others
  • Flexibility and creativity in meeting the needs of the team
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • LEAN and Continuous Improvement experience is a plus
